Portland State University’s School of Business invites you to attend our spring job fair and networking event with accounting professionals from a wide range of potential employers!
Note for Finance/Dual Major students: To be respectful of your time, please be aware that most of the opportunities at this event are primarily geared towards accounting students. However, there will be a limited amount of employers that also employ finance students.
Who should attend?
Accounting students seeking full-time or internship positions in 2019
Accounting students seeking to kick-off networking for employment and internship opportunities available in 2020 and beyond.
When: Monday, May 13th, 4:30 - 7:30 PM
4:00 PM Check-in begins
4:30 - 5:15 PM Professional Networking Workshop (to prepare you for the event)
5:15 - 5:30 PM Break
5:30 - 7:30 PM Networking with recruiters and professionals
Where: Oregon Convention Center, Ballroom 251
What to wear:
The mandatory dress code is business professional. All of the following are required:
A blazer or suit jacket
Slacks, knee-length skirt or knee-length dress
Blouse or button-up shirt (tie suggested)
Dark socks or neutral hosiery
Closed-toe dress shoes with a low heel or no heel
If you do not have access to business professional clothing, please visit the free SB Clothing Closet in KMC 220, which is open Monday-Thursday from 9-5 and Fridays from 9-4
Parking Information:
The convention center offers a pay-to-park structure on-site, and there is plenty of street parking in the area.
